We are currently hiring CDL Class A Driver.
Job Responsibilities–
- License to drive – valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Deliver produce to our friendly group of customers on an assigned route. Must be able to operate vehicle safely within company guidelines minimizing accidents, traffic violations and complaints from the public.
- Communicate timely with customers, routing/dispatch, and sales regarding changes in route, load or any service issue that may arise at time of delivery.
- Be neat in appearance and possess a personality conducive to communicating with customers in a positive manner.
- Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with customers and colleagues.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Routine communication with shipping management team.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands and working conditions of the position.
- Accuracy and accounting of all products delivered, including invoices and credits.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds.
- Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.
- Accurately log time in onboard ELD to comply with hours-of-service regulations.
- Pre and post trip inspection of vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
· Good attendance and punctuality.
· Possess valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record. Clean MVR.
· Must be safety-minded in all aspects of this job.
· Frequent lifting of product up to 60lbs.
- Willing to have a background check done.
- Must be able to pass a DOT substance test.
