CDL Class A Driver 5 YRS Exp Req local DFW Jobs in Grapevine, TX at Travco Logistics
Full time Class A driver needed for local Grapevine Logistics Company. No over the road, no weekends – day time hours.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a variety of trucks, tractor and bobtail
– Load and unload materials and equipment using forklifts and pallet jack
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage – Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance
Skills:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
– Proven 5 years experience as a Class A truck driver
– Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
– Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
– Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks
This is NOT a no touch freight position.
We are looking for a person with a stable work history, no felony convictions can be considered. Must have a clean MVR and be able to pass a drug test and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
