Job description
Responsibilities:
– Tractor Trailer hauling mostly Reinforcing bar.
– Transport freight and goods to main cities in TX.
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
– Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
– Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
– Experience operating heavy equipment, such as tanker trucks or refrigerated trailers, 53’ flatbeds plus overhang.
– Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDLA) with the appropriate endorsements.
Skills:
– Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
– Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
– Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps.
– Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers.
– Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
