American Welding & Gas, Inc. – Has an immediate opportunity for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver at our Wausau, WI. Location.
***** Class A CDL with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsements Required *****
Duties:
- Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
- Pick up returns at customer place of business.
- Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
- Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Class A CDL Required with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsement
- Clean commercial driving record 3+ years
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
