Position Summary: This role combines local delivery driving and warehouse support responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers while assisting with logistics, packaging, and general warehouse operations.
Candidates must be eligible to drive company vehicles and satisfy all fleet insurance eligibility requirements, which may include minimum age and driving record standards established by the insurer.
Essential Job Functions
· Complete scheduled product deliveries safely and efficiently
· Load and unload delivery vehicles
· Assist with packaging, inventory, and warehouse logistics
· Maintain accurate delivery records
· Visit potential clients to expand sales
· Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
· Valid Driver’s License (Required)
· CDL Class B License (Depending on Vehicle – Required)
Hazmat Certification (Preferred)
· Minimum 1 year of driving experience
· Clean driving record for the past 3 years (documentation required)
· Ability to lift and move products as needed
· Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- On-the-Road Independence: You will spend the majority of your shift driving, navigating traffic, and listening to your own music or podcasts.
- Variable Weather Conditions: You should expect to work in all four seasons and various weather conditions, including rain, extreme heat, and cold.
- Physical Demands: This is an active role that requires frequent bending, lifting, and carrying packages (often up to 50 lbs.) up and down stairs or in and out of your vehicle.
- Fast-Paced & Metric-Driven: You will work independently to meet tight delivery schedules and daily performance metrics.
- Safety First: You are expected to strictly follow defensive driving protocols and adhere to all local traffic and parking laws.
