Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL B box truck, including manual transmission models, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure handling of goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedule deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption
- Assist with the operation of front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks as needed
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly during loading and unloading processes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL B license and clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and perform basic maintenance checks
- Familiarity with different truck types including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks
- Strong driving skills with experience in manual transmission vehicles under various conditions
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during cargo handling operations
- Knowledge of load securing techniques to ensure safety during transit
- Excellent organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
