CDL A Truck Driver – Regional Jobs in Cortland, NY at Bestway of New York, Inc.
Bestway of New York—a building-products manufacturer/distributor located in Cortland, NY—is in need of a Regional CDL-A Truck Driver with flat-bed experience.
Responsibilities of a Regional CDL A Truck Driver:
- Safe operation of company tractor and flatbed
- Pick up and delivery throughout the New England market, or other areas as needed
- Routine trips to our other locations for pick up of material
- Professional, timely delivery of product to customers
- Maintaining truck cleanliness and a positive company image
- Compliance with all Federal and State regulations
- Performance of vehicle safety inspections
- Adherence to ELD rules and regulations
- Staying current on company training
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications of a Regional CDL A Driver
- Candidates must be willing to work overtime, especially during the busy late-spring to early fall seasons, but drivers are generally home every weekend.
- Flat-bed experience is mandatory
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Candidates must have a valid CDL-A driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment drug test
- ALL levels of experience will be considered—including entry level—but experience is preferred.
