Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions and Auto Transmissions across local and regional routes to deliver freight efficiently and safely.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Route driving to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or specialized trailers to prevent shifting during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
