Overview
We are seeking a SAFE, qualified and dependable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal driver will need experience in a variety of commercial driving operations, including the transportation of overweight and over-dimensional loads, and the use of lowboy and flatbed trailers. This position requires the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of cargo in full compliance with all traffic regulations, permitted routes, and knowledge of DOT requirements. The candidate shall prioritize safety in all aspects of loading, driving and unloading cargo.
Duties
- Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
