Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across regional routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment , ensuring cargo integrity and proper documentation
- Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to meet diverse delivery needs
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including manual transmission operation and trailer checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission preferred
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery, route driving, and load & unload procedures
- Ability to operate various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Skilled in using forklift equipment for loading/unloading when necessary
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers
- Physical ability to handle loading equipment and perform vehicle inspections as required

Pay: $700.00 – $1,300.00 per week
