CDL A Regional Floater Truck Driver Jobs in Urbana, IL at Nu-Way Transportation
We’re looking for a safety-focused, dependable CDL A Regional Floater that will help cover all of our accounts across Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Lewisport, KY. We’re searching for someone who has flexibility, appreciates respect, and wants to work for a company that knows their drivers by their name and not their truck number.
Required Qualifications Include
- 3 years of verifiable experience with a Class A CDL
- 6 months flatbed experience required
- X Endorsement Required
- Manual Transmission Experience
- Winter driving experience
- Reliable transportation to each location this driver will be covering
- No disqualifying tickets/accidents in the last 3 years
- No drug or alcohol violations
- A strong, safety-first mindset
Delivery Area
- Potential locations this driver could cover include: Varies based on account covered
Equipment
- Truck: Varies based on location
- Trailer: Trailer type varies based on location — Dry van, Flatbed, Tanker, Straight Truck etc.
This Position Includes
- Product Hauled: Varies based on the account being covered
- Freight Handling: load securement, tarping, unloading freight via pallet jack required based on location
- Schedule: Monday- Friday, home on weekends. May need to leave out Sunday to arrive at the location in time to start.
Pay
- Gross Weekly Average: $2,100/Week Guarantee

Job Responsibilities
- Stay DOT compliant with all federal regulations and company protocols
- This position will require slip seating
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain equipment and communicate repair needs
- Maintain professionalism with customers and dispatch
