CDL-A DRAYAGE DRIVERS – EL PASO, TX
MUST HAVE CONTAINER, DRAYAGE, INTERMODAL, CHASSIS EXPERIENCE, AND A VALID TWIC CARD
Must live in or near El Paso, Texas.

We are looking for an experienced CDL-A driver based in El Paso, TX to haul containerized freight between El Paso rails and the California ports, typically completing two round trips per week. While this is the primary lane, drivers must be flexible to support other freight opportunities as customer needs change.
What You’ll Do
- Haul import and export containers between El Paso and California ports
- Average two round trips per week
- Safely transport containerized freight while maintaining excellent customer service
- Operate chassis and perform container inspections
- Pull 53′ dry van trailers when business needs require
- Complete all required trip documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status and delays
- Maintain compliance with all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety requirements
- Be flexible to run alternate routes or freight as operational needs require
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current TWIC Card (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Previous experience with:
- Drayage
- Intermodal freight
- Shipping containers
- Chassis operations
- 53′ dry van trailers
- Must live in or near El Paso, Texas
- Must have reliable personal transportation to the assigned tractor
- No deadhead of company tractor to or from home
DOT English Proficiency Requirement
Applicants must be proficient in English as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Drivers must be able to:
- Read and understand traffic signs and shipping documents
- Speak and communicate effectively with law enforcement, customers, and company personnel
- Respond to official inquiries
- Complete required logs and transportation documents accurately
Minimum Hiring Standards
- Minimum age: 23
- At least 24 months of regional CDL-A driving experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No cell phone or seat belt violations within the last 3 years
- No major preventable accidents within the last 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents/incidents within the last 3 years
- No felony convictions within the last 5 years
- No DUI/DWI within the last 10 years
- No failed or refused DOT drug screens
