Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Reefer OTR Truck Driver, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering refrigerated freight across multiple regions. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with refrigerated (reefer) trailers across designated routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Manage route driving efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries of temperature-sensitive freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including refrigeration units, to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Maintain accurate Elogs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and adapt to traffic or weather conditions proactively.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
Requirements:
- Proven 2 years of experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations for transporting dangerous goods.
- Clean driving record no more then 2 moving violation in the last 4 years
- Ability to stay out on the road 2-4 weeks
Compensation:
- $0.75 per mile — (all miles)loaded and empty
- Average 2,500–3,500 miles per week
- Estimated $2,100–$2,800 weekly
- Weekly direct deposit every Friday
- Paid detention, layovers & extra stops
Equipment:
- 2022–2025 Freightliner Cascadia and Kenwort (no-slip seat)
