No-touch freight demand and predictable route planning make this regional CDL A truck driver position a strong fit for drivers who value consistency throughout the workweek. CK Transportation is hiring for a Northeast regional fleet operating near Harrisburg where freight remains steady, dispatch stays organized, and routes follow established regional corridors instead of changing from week to week.

Drivers primarily travel throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Maryland, and nearby Northeast states. Freight is scheduled to keep trucks moving with fewer interruptions between deliveries, allowing drivers to build familiarity with their lanes while maintaining dependable weekly mileage. The operating schedule is Monday through Friday with a full 48-hour reset at home every weekend.

Fleet & Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Trucks receive regular preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and provide dependable equipment throughout the workweek.

Weekly earnings generally range from $1,350 to $1,550 depending on miles and performance. Drivers who qualify may participate in the $1,200 guaranteed minimum pay program during slower freight periods. Payroll is issued every Friday. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, and toll coverage through both E-Z Pass and I-Pass.

Orientation lasts approximately 2.5 days with hotel accommodations and meals provided. Drivers receive $500 during orientation and leave with route information, dispatcher contacts, and a complete understanding of the operation before beginning their first assignment.

Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and meet one of the following experience requirements: 3 months of OTR experience within the last year, 6 months of OTR or local driving experience within the last year, or 1 year of OTR experience within the past 3 years.
