We are seeking a skilled CDL A driver with a focus only on manual transmission trucks to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Operate CDL A manual transmission trucks safely across regional, or long-haul routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating manual transmission trucks exclusively
- Proven truck driving experience
- Experience with route driving in diverse environments including urban and rural settings
- Excellent attention to detail for vehicle inspections and compliance documentation
