Job Summary

Schedule:
Sunday- Thursday OR Tuesday- Saturday
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or manual methods as needed
- Transport refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks depending on assignment
- Ensure accurate delivery and pickup of freight while adhering to route schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- 2 years experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently
- Experience with refrigerated trailers.
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures and safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with freight handling
