Job Description Summary
The primary responsibility of the Class A CDL Driver is to deliver prefabricated components and materials to job sites, utilizing multiple equipment types, including Drop Deck, Rolloff and Moffett trailers. Inspect and maintain truck and equipment, reports shortages and claims to Manager and assists in loading and unloading and storing of materials. Have knowledge and understanding of job site conditions and utilize best practices for loading and/or unloading materials.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Complies with all PPE standards, safety practices, follows safety rules, procedures, and company policies, including DOT requirements.
- Organizes and secures loads and delivers materials to job sites.
- Completes daily equipment and pre and post trip inspections.
- Logs deliveries and records materials that is returns.
- Performs other tasks as assigned

Required Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum experience required – 2 years
- Experience with flatbeds, drop deck and or roll-off trailers required
Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications
- License: CDL – Class A
- Must be able to be certified (OSHA compliant) as a PIT/Forklift/Moffett Operator
- Must have and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
Required Skills/Knowledge
- E-Log management
- Basic Mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in safe and defensive driving
- Understanding of DOT guidelines, rules and regulations
- Load securing with loading and unloading knowledge
- Effective communicator
- Solid time management
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
