We’re hiring experienced CDL A Route Drivers to support eco‐friendly recycling operations using advanced reverse‐vending systems. Position: CDL A Route Driver – Local Delivery
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 a.m. to completion
Pay: $28.00 per hour plus OT
Location: Vestal, NY
Requirements:
- 2+ years of verifiable CDL A driving experience
- Clear driving abstract
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to perform heavy lifting
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and professionally in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all state/federal regulations
- Complete accurate pre‐ and post‐trip inspections using DVIR
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or service issues immediately
- Communicate route updates, customer requests, and service interruptions to Dispatch or Route Manager
- Safely collect, sort, and process recyclable containers
- Ensure all customer locations are left clean and debris‐free
- Follow assigned routes and complete end‐of‐day check‐out procedures
