Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and dependable CDL Class A drivers to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting refrigerated goods on a 100% dedicated account throughout Indiana and surrounding states. Job Details:
- Earnings: $2100/wk
- Home Time: Home Most Days with Layovers throughout the week (depending on dispatch and hours of service)
- Benefits: Comprehensive family health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Vacation & Holiday Pay. 410(k) Plan.
- Weekend Work Required: Days off are during the week
- 3rd Shift: PM Dispatch Times. Must be okay with driving at night.
- Equipment: Late model automatic tractors with reefer trailers
- Touch Freight: Driver assist unload with pallet jack at each stop (1 to 7 stops per day)
Responsibilities:
- Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently to transport freight to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
- License: Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent tractor trailer experience
- Regulations: Strong knowledge of and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attributes: Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety
