We are seeking an energetic and dependable Catering & Meal Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Your delivery schedule will include delivering prepared meals to the Santa Barbara Airport, Amazon as well as other local businesses. Duties
- Must be badged to deliver to the Santa Barbara airport. Badging includes being fingerprinted and taking online testing to ensure safety and reliability.
- Safely drive large vans or similar vehicle to deliver product orders across designated routes
- Load and unload crates filled with food
- Thoughtful and detailed merchandising of food as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and delivered on time while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and reliability
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices during route driving
- Assist with restaurant tasks such as packing orders or moving supplies when not on delivery routes
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a catering van or commercial vehicle preferred
- Physical stamina and strength for moving many items, loading/unloading deliveries, and long periods of driving
Compensation & Hours
- Earn $22-25/hr in salary + tips
- Be available primarily in mornings from 7:30am-noon
