Responsibilities
- Safely operate your cargo van to pick up and deliver packages along designated routes, ensuring on-time arrivals.
- Load and unload goods using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Manage route navigation efficiently, adjusting plans as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for daily operations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and documentation for each shipment handled.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or courier roles preferred.
- Proven experience operating box trucks or cargo vans in a commercial setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform manual tasks such as moving freight using pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Prior experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, moving equipment, and vehicle operation.
Pay: $225.00 – $230.00 per day
