Overview
We are seeking a professional Car Hauler Transportation Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting vehicles and freight using various specialized trailers across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with commercial vehicles, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Candidates should be comfortable operating different types of trucks and trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and roll-off trucks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes
- Load and unload vehicles or freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other loading tools
- Transport vehicles and freight via flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or roll-off trucks as required
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments
- Assist with route planning to optimize efficiency and timely deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver roles
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types (flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker)
- Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and securing cargo
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety standards in transportation industry
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
- Prior experience with dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and adherence to transportation regulations

Base Pay: From $0.79 per mile
