Join our dynamic transportation team as a Car Hauler Driver and take on the exciting challenge of safely transporting vehicles across various routes. This role offers the opportunity to operate a range of specialized trucks, including tractor-trailers with flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks. As a key player in our logistics operations, you’ll ensure vehicles are loaded, secured, and delivered efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will drive our success and keep our customers satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks, including those with manual transmissions, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Drive designated routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips for mechanical issues or safety concerns; perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any incidents or delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to freight handling, vehicle operation, and road safety to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types such as refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving across urban or rural areas.
- Ability to operate equipment like forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling regulations and safety standards for commercial transportation.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of trailers operated.

Pay: $1,100.00 – $2,400.00 per week
