Position: Captain Dash 8 – YVR
As a Dash 8 Captain with Summit Air, you will ensure safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while prioritizing customer service and safety.
Summit Air is headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, and operates across Canada, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions.
The base for this position is located in Vancouver, BC.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate Dash 8‑300 aircraft safely and efficiently as PIC throughout Northern Canada
- Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, applicable NOTAMs, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy
- Participate in the aircraft pre‑flight inspection and complete all post‑flight duties
Qualifications
- 4000 total flight time
- 2500 PIC
- 2000 MPIC
- BC flying experience is a great asset
- Dash 8 PPC that has not expired for more than 24 months
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to safety culture
- Successful completion of pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
