Bus Driver Jobs in White Plains, NY at Mohawk Day Camp
Mohawk Day Camp is hiring school bus drivers to provide door-to-door transportation for campers throughout Westchester County and Fairfield County, CT for 38 days of camp.
The 2026 camp season is June 29 – August 20, Monday-Friday. Camp is closed July 4th (PAID HOLIDAY)
Responsibilities:
– Safely transport campers ages 3-15
– Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
– Assist campers in the loading and unloading process
– Be on time!
Opportunities Include:
– 18-30 passenger (child), air-conditioned school vans & buses
– Compensation is $29/hr, guaranteed 5 hours per day, for AM & PM routes (6 hours guaranteed if willing to drive a CT route)
– Vehicles to be parked at Mohawk Day Camp
– Bus counselor(s) will be provided to manage the campers
– Possible $600 "perfect attendance" bonus for the summer
– Additional hours available working in food service, parking lot and maintenance
Requirements:
– Age 21 or older
– Valid driver’s license for at least two years
– Minimum of Class B Command Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger & School (P&S) endorsements
– Must speak fluent English
– Satisfactory reference check
