Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Non CDL Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Duties
- Operate a box truck in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform route driving to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload goods using manual labor, forklifts, and pallet jacks as necessary.
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Commercial driving experience with box trucks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures, is beneficial.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience using forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on professionalism and communication.
