Overview
This is a contract OTR (over-the-road) position. Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver where your expertise on the road will drive our success! We are seeking motivated drivers eager to drive.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck to transport goods efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment when necessary, ensuring secure and damage-free deliveries.
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, maintaining adherence to schedules and traffic regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Manage documentation related to freight, delivery logs, load manifests, and route reports accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delivery updates, or vehicle issues.
- Maintain a professional driving record by practicing safe driving habits and adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experienced 26ft Box Truck Driver
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Valid Driver’s license (CDL not required)
- Driver’s license picture
- MVR
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Worker’s Compensation Insurance (deducted each Friday)
- Candidates maybe drug tested at anytime

Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery operations.
- Experience operating a 26ft Box Truck
- Previous experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures and securing cargo for transport.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment for loading or unloading cargo.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo transportation.
