Job Summary
MONDAY-FRIDAY! We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving expertise, will ensure our clients receive their orders promptly and professionally. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and OTR route driving, ensuring timely deliveries across designated areas
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate order fulfillment before departure
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies throughout each shift
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- Non-CDL with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and moving heavy items
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and driving in various traffic conditions
- Ability to lift heavy loads 50-75lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols in courier or delivery settings
