Workplace Installation Group is a commercial furniture delivery and installation company that is looking to add an experienced box truck driver to the team. Although we are located in Jersey City, most of our deliveries take place in NYC/ Outer Borough areas. There aren’t set hours, but there is plenty of opportunity available to work a lot of hours especially overtime.
Job Description
- Deliver furniture to the job site and help the crew of movers unload the product.
- Handle paperwork and ensure it gets signed by the client.
- Check the vehicles prior to leaving the warehouse for any damages.
Requirements
- Must have a clean license/MVR
- The ability to travel to Jersey City for jobs starting as early as 5am. Most start around 6-7am.
- Experience driving 26′ box trucks or larger
- Experience driving trucks in NYC
CDL is not required but is a plus since we do have garbage trucks that we dump regularly.
Pay: $32.50 per hour
