Part-Time Box Truck Driver — $25/hr — Early Morning Routes (NYC Boroughs & Long Island)
Dhall Hospitality Group, a Long Island-based institutional food distributor serving schools, and institutional facilities across the NYC metro, is hiring part-time 22’ box truck drivers for early morning delivery routes.
The Role
- 22’ box truck with lift gate, local routes throughout the NYC boroughs
- Early start times: 4:00–5:00 AM
- 4–5 hour shifts — be done by mid-morning
- Home daily, no overnights
- Hand-unload and pallet jack deliveries at kitchens, shelters, and institutional sites
Pay
- $25/hour, paid weekly
What We’re Looking For
- Prior box truck driving experience required
- Pallet jack experience required — comfortable maneuvering loaded pallets in tight spaces
- Lift gate experience required — safe operation, loading/unloading
- Experience driving in the NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx) is a must — you know the streets, the docks, and how to handle tight loading zones
- CDL not required but preferred (Class B is a plus)
- Clean driving record
- Reliable, on-time, professional with clients
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
