Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver Packages to Washington, DC efficiently and on time for our E-bike drivers. Your expertise in truck driving, load and unload procedures, and adherence to safety regulations will ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics network, supporting our commitment to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as hand tools, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently, maintaining accurate delivery schedules and communicating proactively about any delays or issues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, safety hazards, or cargo security concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during transit.
- Assist with the loading process by verifying shipment contents against manifests and ensuring proper load distribution.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and dispatchers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license DOT with experience in driving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong safety record.
- Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving logistics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards.

Pay: From $22.25 per hour
