We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate documentation for each shipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving goods within storage areas, and organizing shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory handling
- NO commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
