Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver beer products efficiently to various retail locations, bars, restaurants, and private customers while maintaining professionalism.
- Manage heavy lifting and merchandise handling to load and unload products securely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Utilize organizational skills to plan routes effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal route efficiency.
- Apply pricing knowledge to process transactions accurately and upsell additional products or promotions when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and report any issues or delays promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in Class B commercial driving preferred.
- Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and long periods of driving or standing.
- Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.
- Organizational skills for route planning and time management.
