Role Description
- Oversee and manage all operations of the Elastic Weaving Department to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve set targets.
- Ensure all outputs meet required quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely machine servicing and minimize downtime.
- Monitor machine utilization and optimize production efficiency.
- Assign duties to team members and closely monitor employee performance.
- Lead and supervise team members, ensuring discipline and productivity.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Prepare and review production reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering or an equivalent qualification in related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in the textile industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Knowledge of elastic weaving machines and processes, with experience in maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and basic textile manufacturing operations.
- Strong attention to detail with good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office Package.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
