Atelier 4 LLC, known as the leader in fine art logistics for 35 years in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Charlotte, is seeking an energetic person to fill the role of Art Handler/Non-CDL Driver in our Los Angeles office. Atelier 4 Inc has always set itself apart from other logistics carriers with its innovative & highest quality of service. We are seeking a safety-minded Art Handler / Non-CDL Driver for full-time employment in our Los Angeles office, serving as a key contributor to ensuring our services meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
Job Duties
- Transport cargo, store cargo, and install cargo/art.
- Loading, handling & securing cargo/art
- Assist with wrapping & packing.
- Preparing paperwork/reports
- Local truck driving, 18- and 22-foot box trucks (CDL is NOT required)
Qualifications
- Ability to install on a variety of surfaces with various types of hardware.
- Ability to work safely with hand-tools, matte knives, drill-gun, etc.
- Experience in installation and working on-site.
- 2+ years of truck driving and a clean safety record & MVR.
- Knowledge of cargo securement, safe handling practices, and experience with fragile cargo is a plus.
- Minimum of high school or equivalent; minimum 21 years of age.
- Punctual & presentable, good communications skills, legible handwriting.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as part of the daily activity
- Ability to work extended periods of standing, bending, lifting and/or driving
- Ability to effectively communicate with others (verbally and in writing)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and consistently busy environment
- Drug-free environment / safe work environment
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize needs while on job sites.
Position requires 5% to 10% of overnight travel (company-funded)
- Full–time work – NOT gig work
