Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
– Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor
– Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a professional and courteous manner
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that arise
Experience:
– Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required
– Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
– Ability to operate tractor-trailers or large commercial vehicles is a plus
– Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
– Experience with loading and unloading cargo using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
