Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to residential and commercial locations.
- Unload, inspect, and deliver appliances, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
- Install, assemble, and set up appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct basic appliance repairs and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues using your mechanical knowledge and technical skills.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate proper installation and repair procedures.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used for installation and repair tasks.
- Document all work performed accurately in service reports and maintain detailed records of deliveries and installations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or field service technician is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair or equipment repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and assembly processes.
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism, patience, and clear communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.

Pay: $150.00 – $245.69 per day
