We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and repairing a wide range of appliances directly at customer locations. Your mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and attention to detail will ensure each job is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances to residential or commercial customers, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Unload appliances from delivery trucks and transport them to designated installation sites.
- Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household or commercial units following schematics and technical instructions.
- Assemble appliances and related equipment accurately, ensuring proper fit and function before final setup.
- Test installed appliances for proper operation, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks preferred.
- 1+ year experience with appliance installation
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or service technician roles.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC components, and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed installation instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting, assembly, electrical work, and equipment maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift heavy appliances safely and perform manual tasks in various environments.
- Previous experience working with refrigeration or HVAC systems is a plus but not required; relevant certifications are advantageous.
