Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations efficiently.
- Unload appliances carefully using tools and proper lifting techniques, ensuring no damage occurs during transit or installation.
- Install appliances according to schematics, electrical diagrams, plumbing requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of appliances including refrigeration units, and other mechanical components.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring complete satisfaction post-installation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field service roles such as service technician work or appliance repair.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including troubleshooting electrical or mechanical failures.
- Prior delivery driver experience with a clean driving record; valid driver’s license required for operating box trucks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Familiarity with appliance assembly processes and the use of hand tools for installation purposes.
- Physical ability to lift heavy appliances repeatedly; comfortable working in various environments and heights.
