Responsibilities
- Safely operate 26 foot box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances and furniture to customer locations.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and maneuvering large items, ensuring safe handling throughout the delivery process.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, addressing questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon delivery.
- Help with the assembly, installation, and setup of appliances or furniture as needed at the delivery site.
- Conduct basic appliance repairs or troubleshooting on-site using schematics and mechanical knowledge to resolve issues promptly.
- Inspect delivered items for damage or defects; report any concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and equipment records to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or helper in appliance or furniture delivery environments.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and perform basic electrical or refrigeration repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Familiarity with appliance repair, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, or field service work is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate box trucks safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Experience with assembly and installing appliances enhances your versatility.

Pay: $180.00 – $245.00 per day
