Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with roll back tow trucks with wheel lifts, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles from tow yards and auction sites to the yard. Your towing experience and driving expertise, along with your ability to drive a MANUAL TRANSMISSION will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction. You will also be required to operate a roll off container on short runs daily, will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Operate four car tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow vehicles, to transport salvage vehicles back to yard site.
- Perform DVIR and basic repairs as needed to ensure safe towing operations.
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck with care and precision.
- Conduct routine inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle details and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with dispatch to receive assignments and report on job status.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- TOWING EXPERIENCE WITH ROLLBACK TRUCKS AND WHEEL LIFTS IS A MUST!!!
- Strong conflict management skills to handle various customer situations effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus for loading heavy equipment or vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role is mandatory. Join our team this is salvage transport 95% of the time. NO ROAD SIDE TOWS !!

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
