People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Aldridge
.
You must have a Category BE Licence for the role.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Van Driver
, Delivery Driver or Courier Driver
.
Shifts
- Wednesday to Sunday
- 07:30 – 16:00 (flexibility required during peak periods)
Rates of Pay
- £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Carrying out site deliveries
- Loading and unloading boxes and packages
- Loading the vehicle for the following day’s routes
- Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
- Completing vehicle inspections and reporting faults
- Operating Category BE vehicle safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicating effectively with staff at delivery locations
- Adhering to all regulations while transporting goods
Essential Skills
- Previous trailer towing experience (preferred)
- A valid UK Category BE Driving Licence held for at least two years (some points considered)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
- Good understanding of road networks and navigation tools
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and use your own initiative
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles and towing trailers
Training
- Industry-specific training provided
