26′ Box Truck Driver/Commercial Furniture Installer Jobs in Gorham at Cubicle Solutions Inc.
Come join our team as local straight truck driver and be part of one of the largest and fastest growing furniture installation companies in New England.
As a driver/installer you will be in charge of loading/unloading our 26′ box trucks, conducting daily inspections of your vehicle, and helping install crews as needed.
Duties:
- Inspecting that loads are correct and properly secured prior to departure
- Documenting daily truck inspections before departures
- Following state and federal driving laws, including commercial weigh stations
- Requesting the help of ground guides when necessary to maneuver box trucks in tight spaces
- Labeling any product that is being returned to the warehouse
- Stopping at recycling/trash facilities on the way back from jobsites as deemed necessary/efficient
- Entering their own hours as well as the hours of any ride-alongs into our software program
- Assisting with unloads, installs, and load-outs in the field as necessary
Requirements:
- Able to read/write and communicate effectively in English
- Physically able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs
- Have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license
- 1 year of driving experience, and the ability/confidence to drive a 26′ box truck in the area’s major cities
- Availability to work weekdays and occasional weekends
- Be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass a drug test, background check and DOT physical

- This is not a 9 to 5 job. Start and end times will vary daily. Candidates must be flexible and able to work long days when necessary
- There may be days where our schedule does not require all of our trucks going out- in this case you will be required to go out into the field as an installer and there is a difference in how our installers and drivers get paid.
